The Pride Tree is Growing: Join Our Board Leadership Team
As The Pride Tree continues to grow, we are excited to announce that we are expanding and restructuring our board leadership model to better support our mission, programs, and community impact. We are currently recruiting passionate, community-minded individuals to join our leadership teams.
The Pride Tree supports LGBTQ+ youth, families, and community through camps, programming, advocacy, mentorship, and inclusive spaces where young people can safely grow, connect, and thrive.
We are seeking individuals who believe in youth empowerment, community care, equity, and creating affirming spaces for LGBTQ+ young people.
We are recruiting for three collaborative board branches:
Governing Board
Focused on organizational leadership, financial oversight, strategic planning, compliance, and sustainability.
(Previous non-profit or role related experience preferred)
Advisory Board
Focused on networking, fundraising, visibility, professional expertise, and community advocacy.
(Demonstrated professional involvement, leadership or notoriety preferred)
Community Board
Focused on programming support, volunteer engagement, outreach, and ensuring community voices remain central to our work. (All experience levels welcome)
We are especially interested in welcoming:
• LGBTQ+ community leaders
• Parents and caregivers
• Camp and recreation professionals
• Fundraisers and nonprofit leaders
• Mental health and medical professionals
• Legal, finance, and administrative professionals
• Camp alumni and volunteers
• Passionate community advocates
Board service includes meeting attendance, committee participation, event support, and helping strengthen the future of The Pride Tree. Opportunities are available for varying levels of involvement and professional expertise.
